How Our Custom XC Skiing Kit Process Works
1. Choose your kit
Pick the suit, tights, bodysuit, cover jacket, gilet, or full kit that matches your race format and conditions. Not sure which style or fabric is right for your climate and race calendar? We'll help you choose.
2. Share your logos and ideas
Send your logos, club colors (Pantone if available), and any design inspiration. Our in-house design team handles the full artwork — or we can propose directions if you need a starting point.
3. Sort your sizing
We provide detailed sizing guides for individuals and groups. Available in XS–3XL for adults and 128–164 for kids. Size kits are available for clubs and teams who want to confirm fit before committing to a full order.
4. Choose how to order
-
Team Store — We set up a dedicated online store so athletes order and pay individually.
-
Order Sheet — Send us a completed sheet with names, sizes, and quantities and we issue an invoice.
5. Approve your design and order
You sign off on the final 3D design proof and confirm quantities, sizes, and any extras — including race bibs, headbands, caps, or collar cuffs — before production begins. Minimum order is 5 pieces.
6. Production, quality check, and delivery
Your kits are produced at our Italy and India facilities using premium Italian fabrics (Lycra Piave, Marmolada, Antiwind 300), inspected for quality, and shipped within 6–8 weeks of final approval.

Frequently Asked Questions About Custom Cross-Country Ski Suits
1) What is the minimum order for custom cross-country ski suits?
The minimum order is 5 pieces. This applies to all custom XC ski suits, tights, bodysuits, jackets, and accessories.
2) How long does it take to receive a custom XC ski kit?
Standard delivery is 3–5 weeks after design approval. Rush orders may be completed in 6–10 business days depending on availability and quantity.
3) Are there design or setup fees?
No. Design and setup are completely free. Our in-house team creates your artwork and shares a 3D proof for your approval before production begins.
4) What fabrics are used in Heini custom ski suits?
We use Italian performance fabrics including Lycra Piave 9030 for suits and tights — providing four-way stretch, compression, and thermal regulation. Cover jackets and gilets use Marmolada and Dolomiti fabrics for windproofing and protection. Hoodies use Antiwind 300 for added coverage in cold, exposed conditions.
5) Do you make custom ski kits for kids?
Yes. We offer full custom cross-country ski suits, tights, bodysuits, cover jackets, cover pants, and race bibs in kids' sizes from 128 to 164. Same Italian fabrics and design quality as adult kits.
6) What is sublimation printing and why is it used for ski apparel?
Sublimation bonds ink directly into the fabric fibers so graphics won't crack, peel, or fade — even in wet and cold conditions. It delivers full-color, high-definition designs while maintaining the fabric's stretch, thermal properties, and durability.
7) Do you offer custom winter kits for ski clubs and events?
Yes. We outfit cross-country ski clubs, biathlon squads, collegiate programs, and race event teams. We can also set up a team store so members order and pay individually — with direct-to-door shipping available.
8) Do you offer race bibs for XC ski events?
Yes. We offer custom Race Bibs (Aspen model) in unisex and kids' sizes, starting from $16 USD per piece on larger quantities. Fully printable with event branding and sponsor logos.
9) Where are Heini custom ski suits manufactured?
We manage production through family-operated facilities in Italy and India with strict quality control at every stage. All fabrics are Italian or Swiss-sourced, ensuring consistent performance and finish across every order.
10) What is a Rush Order?
Rush Order is our expedited option for urgent race-season deadlines. For qualifying orders, we compress production to 6–10 business days after final design approval. A rush surcharge (typically 20%) applies. Contact us early to confirm availability.
11) Do you ship custom XC ski kits to the USA?
Yes. We ship free to all US addresses on custom orders. Standard delivery is 3–5 weeks from design approval, with rush options available.
12) Do you ship custom ski suits internationally?
Yes. We ship to over 10 countries including across Europe, Australia, and the UK. International shipping costs vary by destination — contact us for an estimate before ordering.
